It is a known fact that if our hair looks good, we feel good and that transforms us into someone who oozes confidence.

What Type Of Hair Do We Use?

We only use the best 100% Angel Remy Hair.

Remy means cuticle correct, meaning all of the cuticles are facing the correct way during manufacturing. So the hair won’t matte after washing a few times. This is extremely important when sourcing hair extensions.

Our hair stays single donor, which means that they only use one person’s hair for each packet and do not mix hair. The hair is cleansed without using an acid bath. This means our hair contains a natural cuticle, which makes it feel and look more natural and much easier to blend when hair cutting.

All techniques can be purchased in 16in, 18in, 20in, 22in and 24in. But they can be cut to any length. When choosing your length please allow a little extra length for shaping and blending into your natural hair.

What Are The Different Types Of Hair Extensions

Micro-Rings/ Nano-Rings

Micro-rings and nanos are fitted using the same technique, they are just different sized beads. For medium- fine hair we would always recommend nanos and for thick course hair micros.

Depending on hair thickness and starting length we apply between 120-250 beads to the hair.

The hair is placed between the beads and the beads are clamped to the hair to secure the hair in place. We wouldn’t advice these for ultra fine hair or hair that is super light as they can sometimes be seen if the hair is not thick enough. For super fine hair options we recommend tape in Extensions.

Tape-in

Tape in Extensions are fantastic for ultra fine hair. Especially hair that is naturally finer around the sides of the head, as they are light in weight and flat. Therefore they don’t show through or stick out the hair. They can also be placed higher up in the hair than other extension methods.

Your natural hair is sandwiched between two fine hair pieces secured with a sticky tab. They sit completely flat and are great for people who wear their hair up a lot. They are also the best option for natural hair that is above shoulder length.

The amount of hair put into the hair will depend on current thickness and desired length. It is worked out by weight. For tape-ins we use between 140g-180g of hair.

LA Weaves

LA Weaves were the first well-known weaves used by all the celebrities to lengthen their hair.

If you wear your hair up alot we recommend the updated invisible weave options for a seamless finish.

Micro-rings are clamped to the hair and then the weave is sewn around the rings to secure the weave in place.

LA Weaves are perfect for denser, thicker hair that is just needing to add length. For LA Weaves we use between 160-200g of hair.

Invisible/ Nano Weaves

Invisible and Nano Weaves are the newest techniques on the market for hair extensions. And in our opinion provide the strongest hold.

First the micro/ nano-rings are clamped to the hair. We then use two fine wefts for hair and sandwich the rings between the wefts and sew them around the rings.

This is a fantastic technique because the nano/micro -rings are completely hidden within the weave. So you won’t feel them at all or see them. Meaning you can put your hair up and no-one would ever know you have hair extensions!

For Invisible/ nano Weaves we can put in anything between 140g-220g of hair, making them the most popular for all types of hair.

How Long Do The Extensions Last?

One week after you have had your hair extensions fitted we will get you to come in for a complimentary check up to ensure you are caring for your extensions correctly. 7 weeks after that you will need your first maintenance appointment.

As your hair grows down so will your extensions. It is important that you don’t go over 8 weeks, doing so will put strain on your natural hair and could cause long term damage or hair loss.

Your hair extensions will be removed and refitted at your maintenance appointment. This needs to be done every 8 weeks. Angel Remy Hair comes with a 6 month guarantee, as long as you have followed the correct aftercare advice and have used the recommended shampoo and conditioner.

The recommended shampoo and conditioner is Wella’s Elements Renewing Shampoo and conditioner. These are super gentle exfoliates and contain no silicone or sulphates to keep your extensions extra soft and silky. Using the Renewing mask once every couple of weeks will extend your extensions life even longer.

With the right aftercare Angel Remy Hair can last up to 2 years!

How often do I need to shampoo the weft extensions?

Shampooing your extensions 1 – 2 times per week is sufficient.

Our hair extensions guests frequently opt in for a weekly blow-dry in the salon for a pamper.

4. Book in for your hair extension appointment
5. Order your extensions.
6. Come in for your hair extension appointment and have your natural hair shampooed, conditioned and blow-dried.
7. Hair extensions will be expertly applied by your hair stylist.
8. Rebook your next 3 x 8weekly move-up appointments. Extensions are a longer premium service and we want to ensure you get in with your favourite stylist every 8 weeks to maintain your new hair.
9. Book in 1 week after your initial extension service for a follow-up appointment which includes a complimentary extension check up, treatment and blow-dry.
10. When brushing your hair extensions at home, it is recommended to use a specific angel remy brush. Be careful not to get caught in the top of the extensions, which generally won’t happen with these style brushes. A wide tooth comb is also great for wet hair extensions.

We Do Not Reccomend Hair Extensions For You If...
